5th February

Sunshine, little wind, no rain, what more could we ask for, lovely day. We had a boy of 14 came to shoot and he beat everyone with 45/50. He only started shooting in September so let us hope he keeps going and does not loose interest later on. We expect great things of him. The party of seven, three of them juniors, were celebrating a youngsters birthday. The Grandad was really pleased with how it had all been handled and praised our helpers who had escorted them round and shown the non shooters how to stay safe and shoot. You were all very welcome.

We think some folks may only want to try 25 clays (5 on each stand) instead of the full 50 as 50 can be a bit much for youngsters and others who come to find out what it is all about. Please ask when booking on about this. I was asked about averages not being on the board but I usually start putting it up when we have had several shoots otherwise it is a bit meaningless. We will be taking part in the Bronte Vintage Gathering in May so if you can help please let me know. Last year we managed to raise £1000.00 to go to Manorlands, our local Sue Ryder Hospice in Oxenhope.

We were given some packs of hot chocolate powder so try it out next shoot. £1 same as other drinks. The bacon sandwiches went in good time yesterday so sorry if you missed out.
